R&D Future Products.

PTS mission is to offer new products and solutions for the electric transmission industry.  As such, PTS continues to identify problems facing the industry.  It will then investigate to find existing (but not used) or developing novel solutions to the problem to acquire, demonstrate, and bring to the market. 

 

If such products/solutions don’t already exist, PTS will try to research and develop new solutions/products on its own.  If successful, that is the new solution/product is reliable and cost-effective, it will demonstrate and introduce it to the industry.  Some of the products/solutions PTS is considering and investigating include:

• Low cost line monitoring systems
• Low cost fault current limiters
• No-sag conductor
